Brendan Walker, President of HCS, is a certified general contractor in the state of Florida. He is responsible for managing all construction activities.
Before attending college in the States, Brendan completed a four year trade apprenticeship in his native Australia. His drive and passion for construction helped him become one of the youngest construction supervisors in the country at that time. He later moved to the U.S. to attend the University of California-Berkeley. Upon graduation, he went on to work in the finance sector at an investment consulting firm in San Francisco, CA. From there he joined Gap Inc, one the country’s largest retailers, to manage construction and remodeling of Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic stores.
Just prior to founding HCS in 2006, Brendan held the position of Vice President, Construction and Asset Management at The Reliant Group, a boutique real estate investment firm in San Francisco. In that role, he oversaw the national operations of large multifamily assets in transition from construction and rehabilitation to stabilization.
Brendan’s top-down and ground up experience enables HCS to truly bring both a contractor’s and an owner’s perspective to every project.
